Mowgli bounded through the jungle, feeling free once again. It'd been a couple years since he'd had to leave his jungle home, but now he was back to stay. He returned only a week ago, and defeated the nasty Shere Khan once and for all. Though he loved his village friends, the boy knew he was meant to live in the jungle, so he bid them all good bye and returned to the place he'd grown up.
As he jumped and ran across the familiar terrain, he suddenly landed in something soft, warm and tight. The boy looked down to see loops of green all around his legs, covering up to his waist. "What the-?" he mumbled, thinking that the rings seemed somewhat familiar. He tried to move his arms, to get himself free, but they were trapped, tight against his sides. "Hmmm... Maybe if I relax a bit... It'll relax to," Mowgli thought to himself, as he let his body loosen.
However the green rings only tightened. "Ooph!" the jungle boy grunted as some air was squeezed out of him. As the rough, yet soft loops continued to squeeze, he could swear they felt familiar. They were scaly, yes, covered in scales. And more than rings or loops, they were like coils. Scaly coils... Scaly coils... Why was that so familiar.
"KAA!!!" the boy suddenly gasped, as he realized it. Only, Kaa's scales were brown, not green.
"Hmhmhm... Greetings, man cub," came that all too familiar voice. Being away from the jungle so long, Mowgli was unaware that the last time Kaa shed his scales, he'd decided to take on a different appearance, to help him fool animals who'd grown wary of him. Mowgli looked down and watched as the front of the coils slowly bulged, as he felt somethign sliding up his legs, over his groin, and now against his abdomen. Something was crawling up between the coils and Mowgli's own body. It was Kaa, and the snake's eyes were filled with familiar, alluring spirals.
"Ka-Kaa..." Mowgli said again, but this time with very little life to it, as he stared into the colors, his own eyes quickly filling with them. It'd been a long time since he'd encountered Kaa, he had no resistance, he was but a man cub, weak and scrawny.
As Kaa continued raising up, he just laughed, seeing how easily Mowgli was falling under his spell. Soon he was eye level with the boy, who just continued staring into the hypnotic spirals, his lip straight, brows raised in confusion. The python pressed his forehead against the boy's, their eyes nearly touching as both sets opened wider.
Kaa knew that he had Mowgli right where he wanted him. No friends would save him. No pesky tigers would interrupt. Mowgli was his, for all his wicked purposes. "Hmhmhm... I have you now, man cub... It's just the two of us."
He was brown in the first one
